Object + Type Lecture Series — Poster & Postcards

This project investigates how typography and imagery interact when communicating art and design. I selected and photographed a freestanding sculpture at the Art Institute of Chicago, then developed five postcards and two final posters for a fictional lecture about the piece. Each layout explores different typographic hierarchies and spatial strategies—testing scale, contrast, and visual rhythm. The masked sculpture imagery is combined with expressive type to translate its physical qualities into a graphic voice.
