Echo Pulse Neck Ring

A wearable filter for emotional noise in the world.

This project explores how AI-assisted(API) wearable technology might help translate overwhelming sensory input into calmer forms of feedback. Instead of blocking the world entirely, EchoPulse proposes a system that filters emotional signals and transforms them into gentle sensory responses, allowing the wearer to perceive their surroundings in a safer and more manageable way.

Highly Sensitive People (HSP)

Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) is a term used to describe individuals who experience heightened sensitivity to sensory input and emotional signals. According to psychologist Elaine Aron, around 15–20% of the population may have this trait.
Highly sensitive people tend to process sensory information more deeply. Sounds, lighting, textures, and especially emotional tones in voices can feel much more intense than they do for others.
For many HSP individuals, the challenge is not only loud noise, but the emotional energy behind it. Raised voices, tension in conversations, or subtle hostility in tone can create strong feelings of discomfort or anxiety.
Because of this heightened perception, everyday environments such as crowded streets, public transportation, or social interactions can become overwhelming. Many HSP individuals develop coping strategies such as avoiding noisy environments or withdrawing from social situations.
