Zen Flow
This project explores the relationship between ritual, technology, and meditation through an interactive installation. Five Buddhist symbolic forms are modeled in 3D and transformed into dynamic particle systems, shifting between solidity and dissolution to suggest impermanence and spiritual transition. By striking a wooden fish (mokugyo), each percussive sound triggers the particles to reorganize into the next form, creating a rhythmic cycle of transformation that mirrors chanting and breath.
Beneath each state, a connected ChatGPT API generates a short Zen phrase in real time, introducing language as a responsive, living element rather than fixed text. Sound, motion, and generative words work together to form a contemplative interface where digital interaction becomes a quiet ritual of reflection.
